On January 8, 2001,
she came into my life
and changed it forever.
Precocious, inquisitive and talkative.
Photos remind me how fast she’s growing,
but, she’s always been more mature than her years.
Eight years ago. . .
I saw her born,
and I am honored to be her mom.
