Wordless Wednesday: Life is Good

Some photos from the most awesome Life is Good two-day festival. We attended Sunday’s festivities.

Ahhh, Belly, you are so right. . .

Kids’ stage performers The Sippy Cups in all their wackiness.

Photobucket
I Am Not Your Broom! (it was hard to tell who was more excited to see They Might Be Giants: the kids or the adults).

Photobucket
Belly watching her first “rock” show, OK Go (great set, btw!)

Love these guys. And the kids too.

For once, Belly thinks my blog is cool: It gave us access to the very chill Chase Freedom Tent with airbrush tattoos, free candy and food.

Zoinks! The coolest balloon hat evah!

We also got to see Laurie Berkner and Dan Zanes perform, play tug-o-war (kids vs. adults–guess who won?), watch BMX bikes soar through the air, and make sure we exhausted the kids with lots of running around on top of a parachute.

Not a bad way to spend a Sunday, eh?

And I realize this isn’t exactly a “Wordless” Wednesday post, but it’s pretty good for me!

Isn't that hat cool? It was a "pay it forward" hat—meaning that after you tried it on and wore it for a bit, you passed it on to someone else. Very neat.

Amy, sigh, yeah, I hear you. My oldest liked her black nails b/c she said "they make me look like a teenager". She's 9.

  13. Life is better than good. It was a wicked awesome show and fun time with our best pals.

When I asked the kids what their favorite parts were, Lucas said the art tent, Phoebe said riding the shuttle bus from the parking lot, and mine was the tug-o-war. Hilarious.

The only downside was blowing dirt out of my nose all night. Reminded me of our dirty lollapalooza days. My, how our concerts have changed!

It's so wrong to be jealous of your little ones for seeing such a great show, but I am.

    BTW, Belly is gorgeous!
